Lurebox

Privacy policy

Last updated: October 24, 2026

This policy explains what data the Lurebox app and this website process, why, and what your rights are.

Controller

Riki Aneiros. Contact: info@lurebox.app.

Data that stays on your iPhone

Your gear, your setups and the catches you don’t post are stored on your device. We don’t receive them unless you create an account and choose to sync or share them.

Account data

If you create an account (for example with Sign in with Apple), we process a user identifier, your profile name and, if Apple provides it, your email or a private relay email. We use them to run your account and the social features.

Catches, photos and location

Community catalog

If you share a model from your gear, we store its brand, model, type, specs and any link you add, plus who contributed it so we can moderate it. Never your photos or notes. If you delete your account, those specs stay in the catalog with no link to you.

Legal basis and purpose

We process this data to provide the service you request (performance of a contract) and, where applicable, with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

Where it is stored

On our own servers located in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany). We don’t sell your data or use it for advertising.

This website

We measure visits with an analytics tool hosted on our own server, without sharing the data with third parties.

How long we keep it

For as long as your account is active. If you delete your account in the app, we delete your personal data and published content, except what the law requires us to keep.

Your rights

You can access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port your data by writing to info@lurebox.app. You can also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (aepd.es) or your local authority.

Children

Lurebox is not directed at children under 14.

Changes

If we change this policy, we will update the date above and let you know in the app when the change is significant.
